School librarians are vital educators who do far more than manage books. They teach research and information literacy skills, guide students in evaluating credible sources, support technology integration, collaborate with teachers to enhance instruction, and create inclusive spaces where all students feel welcome. By helping students develop critical thinking and a love of reading, librarians play a key role in preparing learners for college, careers, and responsible participation in a digital world.
