I am blessed to begin my 14th year in La Joya ISD. I have been a high school teacher, a middle school teacher, a school counselor, and now HOPE Academy Director. I strive to support staff, students, parents, and community members as we work together to ensure the best learning opportunities and outcomes for each of our students.
I believe that I have been called to serve in this profession. As the director, I will have the opportunity to give the students from LJISD the support and guidance they may need to become: responsible, respectable, productive citizens.
